- For other uses, see Gadgets.
Gadgets are features that can be used to make the gameplay easier. Most of them were added in update 1.3 on April 26, 2012. Only two gadgets (three if you have purchased the 3rd Gadget Slot) can be equipped at a time. The 3rd Gadget Slot can be bought for $4.99. If two or less gadgets are equipped, you can watch an advertisement at the start of a run to receive a random bonus gadget for the duration of that run.
To unlock the next sector, at least two gadgets in the current sector have to be purchased. Some gadgets can be combined into Special Gadget Combinations.
Gadgets are disabled during some events, such as Fruit Punch and Turbo Tidal Chase.
