The Slug Flyer is a vehicle skin for the Profit Bird, available as premium DLC from the Metal Slug Crossover! event.
Appearance[]
The Slug Flyer is the Regular Army's fighter plane. In Jetpack Joyride, it closely resembles the original Profit Bird, taking some design elements from its namesake in the Metal Slug series. It has a glass window covering the entirety of the cockpit and is colored in dark green (the top half) and white (the bottom half), but lacks any weaponry. Unlike other Profit Bird skins, Slug Flyer doesn't trails or drops anything from behind, instead using a jet engine on its back.
Flash gains a smaller version of the vehicle, but without the glass window.
Trivia[]
- In the Metal Slug games, Slug Flyer can usually take three hits before going down. It has only one hit point in Jetpack Joyride though, like all vehicles.
- As with all Metal Slug-themed vehicle upgrades (with the exception of S.A.M. Defender), the announcer is heard saying "Okay!" upon getting the vehicle.
